Since it won’t let me go to the Wii Menu, I’ve been turning off the Wii and then ejecting the disc. I also noticed that when I put the Wii verticaly the Disc doesn’t come out all the way, but when the Wii is horizontal the Disc comes out more than vertical.

Well, when putting a Gamecube disc into a Wii, the Wii acts like a gamecube and you must turn off the Wii and turn on to get to the Wii Menu. And how the Wii is placed doesn’t matter either when ejecting the disc, because i tested it horizontal and vertical and it worked fine for me.
