Because they were so inexpensive, I thought I’d take a chance… but it was a waste of money. I think the cables are improperly shielded so they do not conduct the electrical signal correctly. This manifested itself in noticable horizontal lines across the screen when the cables were plugged in. Any improvement in actual image quality was overshadowed by this problem. Maybe I just happened to get a defective set.

I suspect that because these cables are so cheap, some corners were cut in raw materials, and the manufacturing and testing processes. This probably yields an inconsistent product which can sometimes perform well and sometimes perform like mine.

This cable is defective. It periodically stops working. I need to jiggle the connection to the Wii. The standard AV cable that came with the Wii works fine. I sent an inquiry to Bargaincell via Amazon Marketplace over a week ago, and have received no reply. It is no bargain!

The cable looked good. Plugged it in and the issues started. It was very noisy. There was flickering all over the screen. I don’t understand how a cable can be bad and that’s why I bought the item. But you know what, they can be bad.

I paid about $9 for the item and spend $3 and 40 minutes at the postal office to get back the $9. In other words, to try this item I wasted $3 dollars and 40 minutes. It’s not worth the trouble. Buy it at the store, if there are issues you can get it replaced the same day rather than having to wait weeks (time to send it back, time for them to process the return, time for them to send you a new one), money, and hours at the postal office every time you get a bad cable.

I just received this product, and though I am not surprised, I am still upset. They claim they are “gold plated”…? Not even close. SO CHEAP!!! but again, you get what you pay for…

We’ll see how they work once hooked up…

i think everyone who says they can notice the benefit of this product wants to believe that they didn’t waste their money and/or their perceptions of video quality are so fine-tuned that they notice the marginal (at best) benefit of this product.

buy this product IF AND ONLY IF your television does not have an input that accepts the red/white/yellow RCA inputs, and you need RGB component cables.
