1)SKUs
Wii= 199$, 360=199$ (No HDD) 299$-120GB HDD, PS3=299$-120GB HDD.
2)Graphics
Wii- SD graphics, not much to brag about. 360- Good HD graphics.. PS3- Best graphics. Games like Uncharted 2 and Killzone 2 blow away any Wii or 360 game in terms of graphics.
3)Playability
Wii= Motion controllers 360: Remote+Natal (a new tech which supports full body motion recognition. no controller required. Will be released late next year) PS3- controller+ Ps3 motion controller (similar to Wii, but with better accuracy 1:1 tracking.. Will also support full body motion recognition and voice recognition+Head tracking.. Will released next spring)
4)Accessories
Wii: countless accessories. Wii fit and wii plus most popular. 360: Wifi adapter for 100$ and 120 GB HDD for 100$ (I know it’s a rip off). PS3- Everything inbuilt. Wifi, Blu-Ray, HDD, Bluetooth….
5)Features
Wii- Gaming machine and nothing more. 360- Basic entertainment features with DVD playback and media server. PS3- Ultimate media centre with Blu-Ray, DVD, Full HD (7.1 channel) surround sound support with media server capabilities. Wifi also available inbuilt for server.
6)Games:
Wii- Usually casual games utilizing motion controls (which really aren’t that accurate). 360- Hardcore gaming device with online capacity (However you have to pay 50$ annually for it). PS3- Best games in terms of graphics. Most games weigh in more than 30-40 GB due to Blu-Ray capacity benefits and so have a lot of content. Especially PS3 exclusives+ FREE online is a major plus.
