Can you download Wii games to an SD card and it actually work?

without a modchip?
I might be asking for too much but I just want to make sure.

    I think I know what you are asking but here is what you can do unmodded

    You can download or copy games to the SD or SDHC card and now nintendo implemented a SD menu icon you should see on your screen.

    select it and it looks like the Wii menu only darker, click and play directly from the SD card.

    as far as copying games from your pc to the SD card and playing them on the Wii, no you can not .

    Yes, you can! :) There’s been some good development within the past months that allows you to play Wii games from either an external USB harddrive or a SD card. You will need the homebrew channel installed on your wii (softmod, no hardware modding required).

    After you install the Homebrew Channel, you’ll need to get the free ISOloader that’ll allow you to run your Wii games from SD card.
