How Do I Set Up My Wii With My Hdtv?

I recently brought a new 32″ HDTV, and was wanting to hook my Wii up to it. I ordered the component cables for it, but I’m not sure how to hook it up into my existing tv/dvd player/satelite/surround sound system. It works fine now with the red/white/yellow cables, but how would I connect it when I have the component cord, which has five cables?
