The second remote is sync’d to the wii.
But the game will not recognize the second remote.
The instructions simply say “press (+) on second remote to add new player at any time”.
But this did not work, nor did any random combination of button pressing or resetting the console!!
Help!!!

Well, have you checked the Wii controller? Perhaps it is the fault of the controller and not the system itself. Replace the batteries and clean the controller. If all else fails, purchase a new one. If that fails, too, then clean the game disc. If that doesn’t work, return your copy of the game and exchange it for a new one.
You have to sync it.
