There was a voltage surge or something and there was a popping noise.
There was no smoke or weird smell, so I think that it was just either the adapter or the console’s fuse that got fried. can anyone please tell me if im right? and also how easy/difficult it will be to fix? thanks….
I think my Wii’s fuse might have blown… Help?

It could actually be part of a disk tray that reads the disc. it happened to my PS2 before. That only occurs if it was bumped. If it just happened out of no where, then it might be a fuse. I’d say don’t play on the Wii for now to avoid further damage. It’s difficult to fix a fuse and a messed up disk tray alone… but you can send it to nintendo, and they will probably have it fixed in a month. And that option would be pretty expensive! Lastly, You can call tech support, and they can tell you. If you live in the US, it’s1-800-255-3700. Hope this helps!
