I have had 4players using 4 separate remotes before, but as the Wii can handle upto 16 remotes connected at once, can you have more than 4 players in a game?

Just 4 players
Some games have a maximum of 4 (Bowling, Gold, and Tennis). The others have a maximum of only 2 (Baseball and Boxing).

i’ve only played 4 players, but the multiplayer capability is able to play up to 2 players per wiimote. hmm… can you try it and let me know. i dont know enough people locally that own wii’s so i could try it.
