the wii shop programmed on the wii. you have to go to a game type of store (like gamestop) and buy wii points. then you can buy wii games on the wii shop to download on the wii. but you have to have internet on the wii.

Some people use torrents, but that’s illegal. Also, I have heard most of the Wii games with torrents have viruses. I had the same problem as you and there were a lot of sites that offered the downloads, but I wasn’t sure which ones were real.
What I ended up doing was getting a membership to a site that gives you unlimited wii game downloads. I found out after that it also gave unlimited movie and music downloads, but that was just an added bonus for me.
The only problem is it isn’t free, but nothing in life is. It’s $40 for 1 year or $50 for life, and I chose for life since it’s only $10 more. When you consider this is the price of the average wii game, it’s totally worth it.
If you go with one of the “free” sources, you are likely to get a virus or something else.

Nothings free sorry you can try torrent site’s but like they said its filled with viruses. I choose http://www.wiiworldonline.com its got every game it cost you one time and thats it and you can have all the wii games, software upgrades and also it has tv shows for your wii and movies and games. And if your’e unhappy you can always get your $49 trust me you won’t you’ll love it. If you spend hundreds on a wii why would’nt you spend a % of that and create a mega game libary.
