want to play this game if he has to play it alone? If not, what would be a good game for him? We just bought the wii and only have wii sports so far. I let him play up to T for Teen games so feel free to include those also.
On the Wii game, Super Smash Bros Brawl, the reviews aren’t good for a single player. Will my 7 year old still

I asked my 8yr old and 11yr old and they said it was not good for single player. They recommended mario kart, mario and sonic at the olympic games, sonic riders zero gravity, mario party 8 which is good to play with friends as well, warioware smooth moves and rayman raving rabbits. I hope this helps.
Yes super smash bros brawl will suit him. trust if he brings friends over he will love it
also get
marioo kart wii – your child will like it u get a free wheel
resident evil 4 – everyone likes a bit of shooting games
top spin 3 – good fun swinging about

pes 08 – good fun on wifi
sports island – good fun especially wen friends over
kung fu panda – good fun adventure mode
There’s a LOT in SSBB that can be unlocked, or done, that should keep him entertained for awhile. But SSBB is meant to be played with a group, and is more fun as that. It might get old quickly. Hopefully he has some friends that can come over to play with him, and then that’ll hold his interest for a LONG time. Keep in mind that the reviewers are taking into account, their audiences are a little bit older than your son, and they expect a lot out of a game nowadays. Video game critics are some of the most critical in any industry.
If you have an internet connection with your Wii, he can go online and battle with others from around the country / world, so this might liven things up for him in that respect.
Try this instead: Rent the game and see how he takes to it. Most video rental stores will carry games as well. Try it for a few days, gauge his reaction, and then you can decide whether to purchase it or not.
In the meantime, some good solo games are Super Mario Galaxy, The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess, any of the Sims games, Sonic and the Golden Rings, and even Mario Party 8, which you’d be able to play with him, since it’s more of an enhanced board game with fun action minigames to play.
Along those lines are Zack & Wiki: Quest for Barbaros’ Treasure (like Zelda), and Rayman: Raving Rabbids (and Raving Rabbids 2, both like Mario Party
Have fun!
a good game for him is mario galaxy ssbb is way to hard for him.
my 12 year old has been dying to get this game…he’s and only child…i havent been convinced yet though.
i love the lego games and dont mnd being his playmate when he plays them
he also enjoys zelda, naruto, guitar hero, pokemon and resident evil.
good luck with your wii..i love ours
it’s ok as a single player game, but a lot better as a multi- player… if he has 2 play single player i recommend mario kart wii… it’s fun either way… if he likes adventure games (and is pretty smart) then the legend of zelda: twilight princess is really good…..
Super Smash Bros. Brawl singleplayer sucks only because you can’t turn items off, which he probably won’t care about since he’s only seven years old.
You can play the multiplayer mode versus computer controlled players, which is what I do all the time when I want to play by myself. I have played Brawl much more by myself than with friends. Although, it might get boring for a seven year old. The game is very complex.
