Playing a game on its original system or on the Wii channel or emulator,etc..?

So I was wondering (best opinion wins) ….. what do you prefer playing games in… as in… if you’ve played Super Metroid,would you think its best to play it in the SNES (since it came out for that system) or just download it from the Wii Channel or emulator,etc..? Or it doenst make a diffrence… Im asking this since I bought a SNES on eBay and well,I really like to hear what others think on there gaming experience when playing an old game…
