Has anyone played The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess on Wii? Can you please explain a little bit about what sort of game it is? I got a Wii for Christmas and have heard good reviews about it, but I am unsure as to whether it is for me. I haven’t played a Zelda game before – so is it a usual role-playing shooting game or a bit different?
Thanks!!

the zelda series is a third person large space dungeon crawlerish series, twighlitght princess is a fun game. you move the wii mote to slash your various swords( which you upgrade throughout) and then to aim your bow as well, etc. it’s a fantasy game more or less, sorta like elv’s etc but they don’t call them that. puzzles and stuff throughout. there’s a description for ya, i like it personally.
Zelda is a princess. Link is a young man and you follow his adventure to stop the twilight. He is a little bit elf-like as the other poster says but they act and behave like eccentric people. There is a good mix of humour with drama. There is also a good mix of open exploration and claustrophobic dungeons where you must find an object after defeating a large boss character. In the dungeons, you must solve puzzles and riddles to get to the end point. Sometimes you play as a wolf version of Link who has his own special powers.
Highly recommended, very enjoyable and huge fanbase. Actually, it’s a bit tragic not to buy it, as it is a must-play. In the future, people will ask if you had a Wii, and then immediately mention this game in the same breath
