if your wii was made in january and before this year its ok if its made this year after january it will brick if you downgrade it

So I googled that quote, and only found people saying very terrible things about it… but not related to homebrew…
having to send it to nintendo, or even get charged $85 for doing so..
I’m thinking calling nintendo and asking for help after I voided my console with homebrews is not much of an option.

I scrutinized every step of this video, and the first one. And everything seemed to go well, no errors. And at the very end when it leaves the preloader screen.. I get a black screen with white text.

Hey i allready have the backuploader and the softchiprev 92 but i want to play games from disc channel.. can i only install the preloader and the cIOS Corp??? can i play game from all regions??? my wii is 4.1u NTSC whit HBC anda wad manager 1.3

Hi, my Wii with preloader has the IOS set to 60. I can’t seem to change it to IOS 30, I can change it to IOS 38 though. Please help!

Can anyone please help me? During the first video after used the CIOS uninstaller for CIOS 249 my wiis sound has been messed up. It is higher in sound almost like its pitch is to high? please help?

i did the preloader bit, had to restart wii and the wad manager came up.
How do i stop this because all i can do when im at the wad manager is restart wii.
