The Wii is for everyone not just for families an If it was there would not be Madworld for the Wii.
Will there be a HD version of the Wii console in 2011? If it came out then games won’t have to be stripped to fit on the Wii console.

360 and PS3 hardcore gamers are having the better year right now while the Wii hardcore gamers are not.
Quantom of Solace, Brothers in Arms Double Time, TNA Impact were supposed o be great games for the Wii hardcore gamers bt they were not because developers spend all their time on the 360 and PS3 and they don’t care about the Wii hardcore gamers.
No one knows if the Wii versions of Tomb Raider Underworld, WWE Smackdown vs Raw 2009 and the new version of Need for Speed are going to be great Wii games because they are all multi platform games and multi platform games have never been successful and all of them gotten bad reviews while the 360 and PS3 versions have gotten better reviews.People talk about the 360 and PS3 and that either the 360 or PS3 will win the console wars but they don’t mention the Wii console. The Wii has more sales than the 360 and PS3. Do you wish the Wii have more exclusive hardcore games and wrestling games?

No, they weren’t– perhaps to people who didn’t follow those games from the beginning (apparently yourself).

Yeah, since Nintendo’s only done Super Mario Galaxy, Zelda, Battalion Wars II, WarioLand, Mario Kart Wii, Smash Bros, and Metroid for the hardcore compared to Wii Music, Wii Fit, Wii Sports, and Big Brain Academy for the casual audience.
Oh, wait. They’ve done more for the hardcore than casual. Then there’s Punch-Out, Sin and Punishment 2, among others for next year from Nintendo (P.S. MadWorld and Conduit aren’t being made by Nintendo. Do some research please).
Perhaps hardcore gamers truly are “insatiable”. Nintendo could crap out 80 core titles, and they’d still be crying that there aren’t enough. Give me a break.
And cut the we vs. them, hardcore vs. core crap, too. The stereotype of hardcore gamers is that they have to segment themselves from others. Well, here’s an idea– pretentious losers (“hardcore” games) and everyone else.
I don’t care much for those types of games, I just want a Kirby and Star Fox game.
“Big kid” games arent hardcore games, thats just Fanboy talk, i spend more time playing with my Wii than my 360, i dont find many cool games for the 360 just the usual crap, and the multiconsole ones are better with the wiimote. People dont mention the wii because its aimed at a wider audience, its like not mentioning the Simpsons and saying the war of the average american family is between Family guy and American dad, but who wins at the end? oh thats right the Simpsons
I am sorry you are dissatisfied with the Wii compared to the PS3 and Xbox 360! My best suggestion, just BE HAPPY WITH WHAT YOU HAVE! Nintendo simply has a DIFFERENT approach to video gaming, and you are virtually attempting to critisize them for that! And what is the obsession with GRAPHICS or VISUALS? Who gives a STUFF about them! Seriously, what are games MOST PRAISED for? GAMEPLAY, NOT GRAPHICS! Did you know that the games with BEST GRAPHICS are NOT ALWAYS the BEST GAMES? It is the games with BEST GAMEPLAY that are, because that is what GAMES ARE FOR! MOVIES are praised on GRAPHICS AND STORYLINE! GAMES ARE NOT PREDOMINATELY!
And as for the wii being only for “casual gamers” and Xbox and PS3 for “hardcore” gamers, yes that may be true, but it ISN’T AS BAD AS YOU THINK! UNDERSTAND THIS: Nintendo has been trying some thing NEW, unlike the other two! You know what Sony and Microsoft have done: they have both BASICALLY took their previous consoles Xbox and PS2, SLAPPED on some “WOW” VISUALS and ordinary online games, PAINTED their consoles, and called them the Xbox 360 and PS3! Oh and supposidly, Sony was trying to impress us with the Blueray player where movies look better! Woodidoo! Who the heck CARES! It is a VIDEO GAME CONSOLE! And guess what? These consoles have very UNINSPIRING GAMES that we have ALREADY played MANY YEARS BEFORE ALREADY in the SAME MANNER! Okay you got your good games like Metal Gear Sold 4, Resistance or Grand Theft Auto 4, but there are BARELY any OTHER games that seem interesting at all!
Now consider the wii! What did Nintendo do? SOMETHING different for once! MOTION CONTROLS for one thing! They are INNOVATIVE, FUN and ADDICTIVE! Shouldn’t gaming be FUN, not VISUAL PLEASING! Seriously, time to GROW UP about this “issue”!
Another thing: Who is this “us” you are talking about? This crap about “hardcore” and “casual gamers” is really getting old! If you cannot accept the wii for what it is, I am afraid you have forgotten the beauty of games: TO TRY SOMETHING NEW AND LOOKING TO THE FUTURE!
To be honest, I do have those moments of envy. But not with any of the stuff you listed. It’s the games like LittleBigPlanet, GTA IV, Burnout Paradise, and Gears of War 2 that make me silently curse Nintendo’s name.
But then I just look at Animal Crossing, MadWorld, House Of The Dead Overkill, The Conduit, and so many others, and I put away those silly thoughts.
No I don’t want those games.I am very happy with my wii.If I wanted those games I would have bought a ps3 or a xbox 360.I don’t care about HD for me I don’t care about the graphics but rather the gameplay.

the guy below me is wrong.The wiI has more games than the xbox 360 and ps3.Pluse its far more better than the ps3 and xbox 360.The ps3 and xbox 360 won’t in a million years get Mario and The Legend Of zelda.The ps3 and xbox 360 controllers are both outdated while the wii uses a new Motion sensing controller.
People just need to face it- The Wii Sucks.
If you want to play all of those games and have a good time, and not be disappointed, why not just buy the 360 or PS3? If they are better, then why even waste time with a a boring console?
The only reason the Wii has more sales is because parents always look for a cheap idea to entertain their kids, and it’s advertised more to be a family thing…It’s not for hardcore gamers..
