I have children ages 10-13 and got them a Wii for Christmas. I have a few games already put up for them, but what about the fighting games? Do you think that they are too violent for this age group? Any suggestions?

If you want fighting games then try mortal combat armageddon if your searching for normal games then these would be suitable:
1.the Simpson’s game
2.super paper mario
3.Wario land shake it!
or 4.super smash bros brawl!
um.. that dude above me no no bad games but these are:
super smash bros brawl (awesome 4 a party with friends)
wario ware smooth moves ( best mini game game iv ever played)
mario kart wii (good user friendly racing game)
super mario galaxy (good 3d mario game)
wii play (cheap and good 4 mini games)
My son and his little buddies all love super smash bros, spider-man friend or foe (is fairly easy to finish but has replay value in vs mode and finding all the hidden stuff in the levels), and any of the nick toons games. They also like guitar hero and all of the lego games which are good for adults too : )
this might not sound interesting but i love surgery games such as trauma center. great game!

Well,some fighting games are a little violent but some are not so you should buy whatever fighting games you think are not very violent!

A really good game for the Wii, in my opinion, is Marvel Ultimate Alliance. It’s really fun especially wit he classic characters like spiderman and ironman and such. I found a cheap one on ebay if you want to get it.
