the twilight hack (which is outdated by the way, use bannerbomb) is used to install the homebrew channel
to play backups you need the backup loader gamma app for the homebrew channel
    google is your friend

The twilight hack is one of two exploits (the other being bannerbomb) which crash the Wii and run unsigned, or “homebrew” code. If the “homebrew” code you choose to run is the HackMii Installer, you will install the homebrew channel (among other things if you wish)
The homebrew channel, is a channel on your Wii which does nothing but load any “homebrew” code you ask it to. Obviously, this makes its much more convenient to use than an exploit.
To run backups on your Wii, you need to have the homebrew channel run an application (another word for “homebrew code”) that will install Waninkos cIOS rev 10. After that, all need to is have the homebrew channel run an application called NeoGamma every time you wish to play a backup.
    Happy hacking :D
