Ok by using the site http://www.mikeandheth.com/games/109-store-and-load-usb-wii-system-menu-4.html i was able to download homebrew channel and usb loader onto my wii. I have yet to format my hard drive because i don’t really want to back up games onto my hard drive, i just want to play them off my hard drive. What i need to know is where can i download wii games (piratebay?), what format should they be in, do i copy it onto a cd, dvd, or onto my hardrive, and what do i need to do to actually play the games on my wii?

This method only allows you to copy games to the hard drive and play them off of their. You would have to either borrow legit games from a friend or rent them because this only lets you back them up to the hard drive and play off it. If you want to play downloaded games, you need the Gamma Backup loader. After you install it on your Wii, you need to download the game (google it and the game must be in .iso format). Then you have to burn it to a DVD-R disc(25 for $10 at Wal-Mart) and you should be good to go. You should probably look into it more before actually burning a game and finding out it doesnt work.
