I want to get a wii for xmas and there are so many different options for buying the console. I would like to hear peoples ideas of a good deal – including price, which games included, where to buy it… bearing in mind it is for a small family – just one 6 yr old boy!

Sometimes its not just the price, its about buying from a reliable soure! I STRONLY reccommend buying from Sales In Space. They have a wii fit pakage (Wii console + Wii Fit) really good deal, its cheaper than EB games. Thing is u could get better deals on the net, but so many scams and stuff, u need to have that confidence that ur console is covered against defults and that the seller will honour that. With that said, go 2 their website and buy caz its a really good sale! Amazon is okay, but u would have many difficulties with like adaptors and sometimes O/S wii consoles cark it.

the wii with a recent price drop is $199 at almost any retail store, but at amazon it is usually a few dollars cheaper also look for some deals on ebay. The games your gonna want to get with the console are
Mario Kart Wii with the wii wheel for $50 because it is so much fun any one can play it and kids always enjoy this one.
wii play for $50 dollars because it comes with a wii remote and a game which will generate some fun but wont be his favorite game.
Then you are gonna want to get an extra nunchuk for 20 dollars.
Since its for x-mas, you have plenty of time (well, sort of). anyway, because of that, you can be patient and wait until either the console goes on sale or some of the games (very likely). Just pick a few of the deals that you think it might show up on (like amazon’s video game deal of the day) and track it (you can do so from the site or using it as a google gadget).
