Are the Wii virtual console games compatible with the Wii remote, or will I need a GC controller?
Also, what games are good? (any wii shop games) THANKS!

It varies. Some games like ‘Super Mario Bros.’ can use a standard Wii Remote. But games like ‘Mario Kart 64′ need a GameCube or Classic Controller. So, check if it is compatible with whatever controllers.
mostly NES games use the wii mote and the others use GC controller or classic controller.

mega man 2,3 and 9 are very hard games but the easiest would be mega man 9. all the games i listed are very excellent games but if you want more games go to wii.ign.com and you can serch up VC/Wiiware games and see how reviewrs liked them
