Fresh Battery installed ( "4; AA; voltage batteries) read ~ 6. 2 volts. Despite trying all the balance board does not turn on with battery pack installed, or not connected to the USB power cable. If the battery pack charged to the Wii through the USB cable into standby mode is questionable, leaving the Wii in TOP mode for a whole day did not change the voltage of the battery pack.
