I read on a Wii blog that they rate/score the wii easier
An d if they scored it by how they scored wii it would get much less score
The example was super smash bros brawl
They said it would get like a under a 9.0 for a wii game
Is it true they rate easily on wii and hard on PS3/360
Best answer gets 10 points!
The 1st person who answered is an idiot
The question is do they rate easily on Wii and Hard on PS3/360

Depends on who the reviewer is. Some people may hold a bias to the Wii, and really enjoy it, so they will give it a higher score. On the other hand, some people hate the Wii, so they may give it a lower score.
So basically, it really depends on the source. I personally dont listen to reviews, and either rent games or listen to word of mouth of friends who have actually played it. I think some games get higher reviews then they should, and other games get lower ones than they should. The whole reviewing world is insane. What it all comes down to is a person’s particular tastes, and if they have a bias or not.
So to answer your question after that rant, it depends on who is giving the review.
yes the wii and ps3/xbox really are not in the same category wii is directed at younger people kids and ps3/xbox is more for older teens and adults
now there really isn’t officially stated. but i have been really noticing that they do go easy on the wii. but if they really do or not is basically up for debate. but think about it. super smash bros brawl got a 9.5 on ign.com. that is rediculously over rated when you notice all the flaws in the game. while soul calibur 4 another fighter got a 8.7 when there was very little flaws. the reason they do this in my opinion is because there aren’t many great games on the wii, so they base the game on other wii games. mario galaxy got like a 9.8 or something like that, if it showed up on the ps3 it would be like a 7.6.
EDIT: i wouldn’t say they go hard on the ps3/xbox 360, it’s just that they more accurately review the games.
It really does depend on the reviewer. To me, it seems IGN knocks about a full point off most Wii games.
