I was wondering if you had to pay even if you had warranty for your wii if it breaks and you had The Homebrew Channel on it.

Well, they can fix it but they are going to charge you even more.
And they might/might not remove the Homebrew Channel.
Installing the Homebrew Channel voids your warranty completely, they may not even agree to fix it even if you pay.
