Purchased the 160GB model PS3 thinking it was still backward compatible. Choose 80GB model if you want to continue to use your PS1 & 2 games as Amazon goes with the price, if they refuse to honor the price changes. My suggestion is to shop elsewhere that this is not a bargain!

I bought the PS3 for my son for Christmas. It came with the "Drake's Fortune" game, which was OK, but it was also supposed to come with a "good" for a second, a downloadable game called "Heat". I looked through the materials but could not find the right ". So I went on Sony's website as described in the manual and asked what the deal was. They sent me a link to a bunch of FAQs that has not helped. So I replied that I still need help. They sent me some links with more independent information, and again I told him my problem was not resolved. Their 3rd reply said to call Sony Support. Then the feast began. It took me a while before I had time to sit down and make the call. When I got through, January 31, I was told that because I purchased the system there are more than 30 days (date of purchase on Amazon, around December 20) They could not me. I went to 3 levels of management and they are all stuck in the same line. Although nowhere in their documentation does it say anything about 30 days, and the warranty is supposed to be for one year, I have no luck. If I had enough on the $ 40 or if the game was supposed to be a value, I would hire a lawyer and prosecute these people. But since I have no time or energy, all I can do is tell people that ships defective equipment and Sony does not stand by their warranty. I do not recommend this game, or anything else that is manufactured by Sony.
