I know you can play a PS2 Game on a PS3. Right?
I know a PS2 requires a memory card, but does the PS3 just hold the memory in the system itself?
If it does..could I save a PS2 Game onto a PS3?
Dumb Question, I know. But curious.
Ps3 Memory?

Yes you can. However, you need to “create” and internal memory card for the PS2.
It’s not a dumb question. Yes it does and you could save a PS2 game if the PS2 game is compatible with your PS3 in the first place, if not it won’t even run.
Consider the 20/60 GIGS models are the most compatible with PS2 games.
The 80 GIGS version is just compatible with some fewer games since it doesnt feature the original PS2 CPU, it has just the GPU.
Finally 40 GIGS is not compatible at all with PS2 games.
yes it saves it directly to the hardrive but you have to create an internal ps2 memory card. you can do this by going to the XMB (cross media bar) and clicking on internal memory card. and follow what it says
yeah, all you have to do is create one internally, which is easy. The cool thing is you can make like 10 PS2 memory cards internally and the same with the PSone memory cards. I’m lovin my PS3, and I’m still lovin the old PSone and PS2 games, yeah they’re still just as fun.
ya it holds the card internally so u can save games
yess it holds in ps3 i have one
yes it can and just in case you don’t want to start over on the ps2 game go get a memory card adapter. It’s usually found in the ps3 section in Gamestop or other game stores. It takes the memory from the memory card of the ps2 and transfers it into the Hard drive fo the PS3
