True PS3 Fan Noise Level

Since i got my ps3 replaced I couldnt help but notice how whisper quiet it was. And to end the speculation. It is not a loud console. The 40gb model that I have uses a cooler chip so I cant give an example of the 60gb model. Yet compared to this the 360 may aswell have a jet engine strapped to it. Also a quick tip. Dont leave your PS3 anywhere that heat builds up. eg an enclosed space where the heat at the back of the ps3 cant escape. That can cause the fans to work overtime and get louder …
