If you dont mind playing an “atari-like” game on your xbox, go ahead and get it!! This game isnt worth $1.50.

Graphics are bad, controls are bad, character dipiction is ok, but still bad. and cut scenes are awful! This game is a nightmare!!

Well, when I saw this game was coming out a few months back, I really had hopes, that it would be awesome to play, even though most movie based games usually fall short. So when it came out, I decided to give it a shot. After playing and finishing the game, in one day I might add, 8 hours of Game play, its alot of fun, but only because its GIJOE, it this would have been a game about anything else, I would have not even bothered to finish playing it. Lets start with the bad first. Graphics are sub-par not horriable, but not Gears of war ether. the Camara sucks, you have no control over it, and it puts you in akward view points to where you are. You might be behind cover and underfire and your camara will not spin around so you can see the target firing at you making you blind so you have to leave cover and run around until the camara moves to a differt angle. Your AI sucks when your playing by yourself. You have not checkpoints, just breaks in the level that splits the levels into parts, and you tally up your points through out the game between each checkpoint. So if you want to go back and play a certain part of the level you can’t you have to play the level all over again. the Game is only 8 hours long, really short game and for [...], thats alittle much for such a short game. Another let down is getting all the playable joes, not only do you have to find there contacts in the levels to get them, but then you have to pay for them with credits you get when you finish levels. The plus side is they give you alot of joes to unlock and they have alot of unlockables to go through. There is also a meter you can fill up that puts into GIJOE mode with those exceletor suits and The GIJOE theme music starts playing, and thats really awesome touch. If your a die hard GIJOE find you might want to give it a try but if your not, its not really worth a bother. Some of the Joes you can unlock are Beachhead, ShipReck, Gong Ho, Duke, Scarlet, Snake Eyes, plus others, and cobras you can unlock are Destro, Stromshadow, Firefly, and the baroness.

the game doesn’t have the best graphics, but actually is a little challanging and is fun to play with 2 players.

My friend and I rented this game thinking it was going to be another crappy movie based game. We were pleasantly surprised how much fun this arcade style game is. One of the few good movie based games out there.

This game has tons of achievements, unlockable movies, unlockable characters, etc. You can drive vintage G.I. Joe vehicles. You can even use the Unlockable Cobra characters in the campaign.

This game has its flaws but over all I would highly recommend this game to anyone who is a fan of G.I. Joe or arcade style games. I would wait until the price goes down or buy it used or look on ebay.

Not exactly what I was expecting, but very fun to the right dork (me). The voice acting is pretty lame and the gameplay is similar to a 3-D Contra mission. Your only strategy available is to hold the trigger down and keep moving. But still, it’s a pretty fun arcade-like 3rd Person Shooter with co-op abilities and a deep character selection (must unlock them) with some classic vehicle use. Also, there are cameos from many characters (movie re-inventions on some). Oh “Dial-Tone”, I remember back when you were a dude and “Dataframe”, to think it wasn’t that long ago when you were “Mainframe” and not Asian. “Stalker” seriously, the dreadlocks aren’t your look man. Still my dorkness level rises every time that theme song plays when my character gets “super-charged” in battle (seriously, nice touch). Since this is the best offering of the JOE’s since the old 8 bit NES days, I’m extremely happy with this fresh start, but looking forward to the future.
